Proper interpretation of X-ray films requires high-quality, uniformly lit viewers, but most commercial devices are expensive and lack portability. Many rural or low-resource settings struggle to acquire such basic diagnostic tools.
This project involves designing a low-cost, portable X-ray film viewer using high-brightness LEDs and diffused acrylic panels. The illumination ensures uniform lighting and helps in clear visibility of medical X-ray films for diagnosis. The viewer can be powered via USB or rechargeable battery, making it ideal for field use.
