Premature babies require stable temperature and humidity environments for survival. Similarly, hatching chicken eggs demands precise temperature and timing control. In areas lacking advanced incubator systems, this poses a major challenge to healthcare and agriculture.
The Arduino-Based Incubator System is designed in two variants:
This version maintains optimal temperature and humidity for newborns, especially premature babies. It uses a DHT22 sensor for monitoring, a heater with relay for control, an LCD for display, and a keypad or encoder to set temperature and humidity ranges. The system features alarms, auto shutdown, and can integrate GSM for remote alerts. Safety thresholds are enforced to prevent overheating.
Designed for hatching eggs, this version allows setting incubation time and temperature. It includes automatic egg turning (via a servo), humidity control using a water heater or fan, and temperature regulation. The user inputs desired incubation duration (e.g., 21 days), and the system counts down. Alarms notify the user if conditions deviate from the set thresholds.
