Fires in homes, offices, and industrial settings often go undetected until they have spread extensively, causing severe damage, loss of property, and endangering lives. Traditional fire detection systems may be expensive, lack portability, or do not provide early alerts.
This project focuses on designing a fire detection and alarm system using temperature sensors and smoke sensors interfaced with a microcontroller. Upon detecting a fire hazard (excessive heat or smoke), the system activates an alarm and can also send alerts via GSM or Wi-Fi for remote notification. This enables quick responses to potential fire outbreaks.
