Project 22: Drip Monitor

Drip Monitor

Problem Statement

In healthcare settings, drip infusion is a common method for administering medications and fluids to patients. However, ensuring that the drip rate is consistent and that the infusion is completed without interruption can be challenging. A manual drip monitoring system is prone to human error and can lead to either over-infusion or under-infusion. There is a need for an automated system to monitor and control drip rates efficiently.

Description

This project involves developing an automated drip monitor system that uses sensors to measure the drip rate and monitor the fluid level in the IV bag. The system will trigger an alert when the infusion is complete or if the drip rate exceeds or falls below the desired threshold. This system ensures accurate drug delivery and reduces the risk of over-infusion or under-infusion in patients.
