Project 56: DC Refrigerator
Refrigeration is an essential service, but traditional refrigerators often consume a lot of power, making them unsuitable for remote areas with limited access to power or for off-grid systems. There is a need for an energy-efficient, low-power-consuming refrigerator that operates on DC power, suitable for use in off-grid applications.
This project aims to design a DC-powered refrigerator that uses low energy to cool the contents. The system will be optimized for use in areas with limited or intermittent power sources, such as remote rural locations or off-grid solar-powered homes. The refrigerator will offer energy-efficient cooling while maintaining a consistent low temperature for preservation of food or medical supplies.
