Road safety is a major concern, and accidents often occur due to human error or delayed reactions. Traditional braking systems rely entirely on driver input, which can sometimes be insufficient in emergency situations. There is a need for an automatic braking system that can detect obstacles and apply brakes independently, reducing the risk of accidents.
This project focuses on developing an automatic braking system for vehicles using sensors (such as ultrasonic, radar, or LIDAR) to detect obstacles or sudden changes in traffic conditions. The system will be capable of applying the brakes automatically when it detects an imminent collision, significantly reducing reaction time and preventing accidents. This system can be integrated into existing vehicles or used as an additional safety feature.
