Project 21: Blind Man Stick

Blind Man Stick

Problem Statement

Visually impaired individuals often face challenges in navigating their surroundings safely. Traditional white canes are effective for tactile feedback, but they are limited in their ability to detect obstacles that may be out of reach. There is a need for a more advanced, electronic blind man's stick that can help visually impaired people avoid obstacles by providing both tactile and auditory feedback.

Description

This project involves designing an intelligent blind man's stick that uses sensors (such as ultrasonic or infrared sensors) to detect obstacles and alert the user through vibrations or sound. The stick will be lightweight, easy to use, and provide real-time feedback to help users navigate their surroundings more safely and independently.
